About the Author

Never lie to the Fae

Never accept a gift from the Fae

Never say thank you

….and never, NEVER give your true name.

You have been warned.

Welcome to the Labyrinth, gentle readers!

As this novel is my first born, I should probably warn you that the voices in my head tend to talk over each other a great deal.  For those of you who are offended by ‘head-hopping’, you may find this trait annoying.  But the voices insist and I dare not refuse. I have tried to mark each instance of this to make your experience easier, but I’m sure you know better than to thank me for this favor….

As far as trigger warnings for content, I’m not sure I believe in them. It is true that I have had traumatic experiences of my own. I have C-PTSD. Panic attacks and flashbacks are a significant part of my recovery from those experiences. But I watch the movies where the dog dies. Because pressing on those bruises where I have been wounded helps me learn how to heal. It makes me see the wound I have spent my life ignoring.

If I can use hieroglyphic characters of black on a clean white page to reach across time and space, to invent something or someone that touches your emotions, that makes you cry or rage or laugh; well, that’s magic. And I do believe in magic.

I hope you enjoy the first story the voices in my head told me.
